Welcome to Funrec Background Audio Journaling App. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have.
The app is designed to be simple and private. It collects no personal information by default. However, it requires the following permissions to function:

Recordings are not stored in public device storage or shared automatically. All audio processing happens locally on your device.
The app does not share your recordings or personal data. Funrec now displays ads through Google AdMob, which may collect certain device data for advertising purposes. Your recordings are never shared.
Note: When you choose to share content manually — such as copying text to the clipboard, sharing complete recording notes, exporting a PDF with highlights, or sharing a full audio recording — the selected destination app or service will receive the shared data. Funrec does not control or track how those external apps handle your shared content.
In-App Purchases (Remove Ads) Our app includes an optional in-app purchase feature that allows users to remove advertisements. This purchase is processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment or financial information used during this process. All transactions are handled directly by Google Play.
Your recordings remain private in the app's internal storage directory. They are not accessible by other apps unless you explicitly choose to share them.
If you uninstall the app, your saved recordings may also be deleted unless you have exported them manually to external storage.
The app is for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page will always reflect the latest version.
